The School Day
RECEPTION TO YEAR 6
Our school day starts at 8:45am for children in Reception to Year 6. A bell is rung at this time to indicate the stars of the school day. Teachers will be on the playground to greet children and families as they arrive. A second bell is rung at 9.00am, after which time children will be must enter school through the main office and will be marked as late.
- Morning session: 8:45am to 11:45am (Reception & Key Stage 1); 8:45am to 12:00 midday (Key Stage 2)
- Lunch: 11:45am to 12:45pm (Reception & Key Stage 1); 12:00 midday to 1:00pm (Key Stage 2)
- Afternoon session: 12:45pm to 3:15pm (Reception & Key Stage 1); 1:00pm to 3:15pm (Key Stage 2)
NURSERY
Nursery children will be given the option of attending for 30 hours, a morning session or an afternoon session. The times for these sessions are as follows:
- 30 hours: 9.00am to 3.00pm
- 15 hours - Morning session: 8:30am to 11:30am
- 15 hours - Afternoon session: 12:15pm to 3:15pm
